The Bay Area Reporter reports that as part of his push to designate historic properties as city landmarks to protect them from being destroyed, gay San Francisco Supervisor Rafael Mandelman is seeking such local recognition for the one-time home of the late gay U.S. Ambassador James. C. Hormel.
