Bill To Repeal D.C. Home Rule Would Jeopardize LGBTQ Rights: Activists

The Washington Blade reports that U.S. Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) and U.S. Rep. Andy Ogles (R-Tenn) on Feb. 6 introduced legislation in the Senate and House calling for repealing the D.C. Home Rule Act, which would eliminate the city’s limited home rule government with a mayor and city council.
