The Bay Area Reporter reports that a recent state Senate select hearing discussed the challenges faced by LGBTQ seniors in California. It was billed as just the start of such conversations, as some LGBTQ elders continue to face issues even as the state’s LGBTQ Senior Bill of Rights aims to address them.
