Rural LGBTQ Youth Face Greater Hurdles Than Urban Peers: Study

The Washington Blade reports that a newly released report based on a nationwide U.S. survey of 1,267 LGBTQ young people from the age of 15 to 24 shows that LGBTQ youth living in rural communities face greater hurdles in coping with their sexual orientation or gender identity.
