Seattle Pride Culminates in PrideFest at Seattle Center

For this year’s Pride, Seattle, Washington, turns into an Emerald City with the theme “Over the Rainbow.” Produced by Seattle Out and Proud, it celebrates the passage of Referendum 71, a historic milestone that places the State of Washington squarely in the forefront of GLBT civil rights. The event drew more than 350,000 people in 2009.
