Scooter’s and Diversions Host Eau Claire Pride

On August 15-16, Scooter’s and Diversions, two local gay bars, are hosting Pride in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Along with events at both establishments, they’re sponsoring a Pride Picnic on August 16 in Mt. Simon Park in Eau Claire, featuring free beer, burgers, and brats. The park overlooks scenic Dells Pond.
Diversions owner Tim Romans says, “We invite everyone to join us in celebrating Eau Claire Pride, now in its 24th year. We hope everyone in town and the surrounding area will attend, and extend a special welcome to folks in the Twin Cities metro. Come have fun with us!”
Looking for a place to dine? Don’t miss gay-owned Galloway Grill, next to Scooter’s, which offers scrumptious entrées, sandwiches, soups, and salads that are moderately priced. Historic photos of Eau Claire are displayed on the walls.
Picturesque Eau Claire is about 75 miles from the Twin Cities, an easy hour-and-a-half drive on I-94.
