Northern Virginia Fashion Week (NOVA) may not enjoy the same press as events held in the fashion industry’s powerhouses of New York, Paris or Milan. But NOVA is definitely the debutante to keep your kohled eyes on. For a first-year event, it is already attracting a range of professional designers with a penchant for drama: expect voluminous skirts and sleeves, neo deconstruction, and over-the-top bling.
