Passing: Jeffrey Pederson 1970-2009

Formerly a resident of the Twin Cities, Jeffrey Alan Pederson, 38, died January 7 in Palm Springs, California. He was born September 8, 1970.

A written tribute to Pederson shared: “Jeff was a special man and a gift to have in our lives. He lived with a cheerful enjoyment of life that was as contagious as his sparkling smile and bright blue eyes. Like the principal character in his favorite film, It’s a Wonderful Life, Jeff touched so many people with his kindness and generosity, and inspired them to carry it on, that he, too, had a wonderful life.

Pederson is survived by his partner, Tim Schneider; his parents, Penny and Terry Pederson; his brothers, Nate Pederson and Tim Pederson; other family; and many friends.

A private celebration of Pederson’s life was held January 10 in Palm Springs, and a public celebration of his life January 17 in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin.
