Wesley Church Continues United Methodist Church Commitment

Thank you for your thoughtful “Historic Wesley Church Launches Inclusive New Incarnation” [“Queer As Folks,” Lavender, January 27]. As you correctly indicated, “Welcoming everyone, including the GLBT community,” is our goal and our highest priority as a church. We seek to continue Wesley’s pioneering spirit, and the United Methodist Church’s deep commitment to justice, kindness, and faithfulness. We are deeply grateful for the “hope and encouragement” we have received from the community and Lavender Magazine.
