Hello, I’m Tim Creagan, a wardrobe expert with styledlook®. As the chill of Fall sets in, jackets, cardigans, and vests will be a more visible part of our day and evening looks. Isn’t fashion fun? Let’s review some ways you can add a bit of style to your look.
A pocket square is a great way to a give a pop of color to your jacket. One of my favorites that I have selected from STYLEDLIFE® is a print from Pucci. Don’t have time to stop in and buy a new one? You can make a pocket square at home by simply cutting a 10” square out of a fun fabric. Maybe that wild Halloween dress can have a more masculine second life.
Another clean, cool look can come from a tie bar. While past generations may have just worn these to hold a tie in place, placing one in your breast pocket can help show your personal style. And it can be a good conversation starter. The one I have selected here is from our mint-condition vintage collection at STYLEDLIFE®.
While this next item is not attached to your jacket, cardigan, or vest, it is an area of the body that looks great with an accessory. The wrist is a hip, low-key place to show your personal style. One of my favorite pieces at the store is this double leather braid with sterling clasp from D’Oz. Again, if you are pressed for time, and your wrist needs dressing, pull a leather lace from your boots, and wrap it around your wrist a couple times. Look through your junk drawer, and add a charm or two, if you’re so inclined.
