Duluth-Superior Pride Sizzles Labor Day Weekend
This year, Duluth-Superior Pride marks its 24th anniversary with a four-day event in the Twin Ports of Duluth, Minnesota, and Superior, Wisconsin, over Labor Day Weekend, September 2-5.
Uh Huh Her, starring Leisha Hailey of Showtime’s The L Word, headlines the Pride Festival in Duluth on September 4. The Pride Parade takes place on September 5 in Superior.
For the first time, two Superior bars are hosting the Official Pride Block Party on September 4 at their respective venues: The Flame, featuring Far From Falling and opener Opal; and The Main Club, with DJs Doc Hyde, Joseph Alexander, and Mr. Tim.
A new Pride event to complement the popular Fruit Float Boat Cruise on Lake Superior is the Foo Foo Choo Choo Train, a three-hour railroad trip up the shores of Lake Superior and back on September 5.
