Duluth-Superior Pride Festival
This year, Duluth-Superior Pride marks its 22nd anniversary with a four-day event in the Twin Ports of Duluth, Minnesota, and Superior, Wisconsin, over Labor Day Weekend, August 28-31.
On August 30, the Pride Festival features fabulous headliners: Martha Wash, the diva with the powerful voice who was half of the legendary Weather Girls (“Its Raining Men”), and Nemesis, the popular musical duo of attractive identical twins Jacob Miller and Joshua Miller.
Don’t miss the opening event, the Mayor’s Reception, on August 28. New Duluth Mayor Don Ness will welcome residents and visitors alike to the St. Louis County Heritage and Arts Center’s Historic Union Depot. Jeff Anderson, the first openly gay member of the Duluth City Council, elected last year, is hosting the reception.

Duluth-Superior Pride draws thousands from the local and surrounding areas. In 2005, it received a well-deserved kudo from Out Magazine as “Hottest Small Town Pride.”
