The Spyhouse-East Isles Opens
The Spyhouse Coffee Shop-East Isles is now open in Uptown Minneapolis. It joins siblings the original Spyhouse and The Bad Waitress, both on Nicollet Avenue in Minneapolis.
Occupying a 2,000-square-foot space, the new Spyhouse’s interior design has a 1920s-1930s feel with a modern accent, offering an inviting atmosphere to socialize in. Original 15-foot tin ceilings, along with wood floors, complement the original exposed-brick walls. A six-seat concrete window bar and twelve-seat coffee bar were custom-made on site. Collectibles and art from the early 1900s are displayed throughout the shop. Patio seating is available.
Mainly beverage-based, The Spyhouse prides itself on excellent espresso and coffee drinks. It also has great teas from Tea Source. Sandwiches and bakery are made at and delivered fresh from The Bad Waitress and Patisserie Margo’s in Edina. A popular item is The Spychaser, a special cold-pressed recipe for cold coffee. Each and every beverage is prepared professionally with exquisite detail.
Other amenities include free WiFi, along with plenty of outlets for laptoppers.
