Swanky W Hotel-The Foshay Opens in Minneapolis
What was once a trend meant only for the biggest and most fabulous cities has begun to transform the Twin Cities. W Hotels Worldwide, one of the fastest-growing luxury hotel brands in the world, has opened the newest hotel in Downtown Minneapolis.
W Hotel-The Foshay features Manny’s Steakhouse, Prohibition Bar, a state-of-the-art gym, a wired business center, and nearly 7,000 square feet of ultrastylish function space, with the only observation deck in Minneapolis—in one of the country’s most inspiring and iconic art deco buildings, formerly known as the Foshay Tower.
Phil McAveety, Executive Vice President and Chief Brand Office of Starwood Hotels & Resorts, was quoted as saying, “We proudly unveil the new W Minneapolis-The Foshay, combining iconic architecture, urban sophistication, and innovative design to create the ultimate insider escape. With the opening of W Minneapolis-The Foshay, W Hotels brings a vibrant new destination to this dynamic cultural capital, offering extraordinary experiences and signature lifestyle elements to sophisticated travelers and local Twin Cities loyalists.”
