All at Sea: Charter Apostle Trawlers’s Adirondack To Sail Lake Superior
Looking for a unique vacation? A very special way to gather your book group, host a reunion, celebrate an anniversary, or just set sail? Want it all close to home?
Apostle Trawlers’s Adirondack is the only trawler available for charter on all of Lake Superior. Captain Jeff Janacek, a US Coast Guard licensed master, runs the boat.
Now, anyone can experience the beautiful Apostle Islands on this roomy and stable craft boasting a large covered flybridge, perfect for lounging and relaxing.
Customize your trip to include sea caves, beaches, lighthouses, swimming, hiking trails, camping, and fabulous places to anchor or dock for the night wherever you want, including Isle Royale, Duluth, or anyplace on the North Shore. Cruise back to Bayfield for shopping, dinner, or seeing the Big Top Chautauqua.
Combine your cruise with other boaters to make up your own flotilla, or use the boat to ferry gear and friends to camp on the islands and then do day trips. Apostle Trawlers even can arrange all the food and beverages for your group.
Adirondack is a classic 1997 36-foot Monk fast trawler with a beautiful teak interior and holly flooring, three-zone heating and air-conditioning, and two heads (toilets). She sleeps five: two in the V-berth, two in the aft cabin, and the captain in the salon. The boat is equipped with an 8 kilowatt generator and 2,500 watt inverter, providing 110 volts of power anytime.
An Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon (EPIRB), DSC-equipped radios, propane sniffers and shutoff valves, and carbon monoxide and smoke detectors offer every safety device available.
Because someone else operates, stores, insures, and cares for the boat, some think this is the most economical and trouble-free way to enjoy boating.
Special: Apostle Trawlers is offering a free day for any charters booked in May.
