The Laramie Project

The People’s Theater brings to the stage the story of the brutal murder of Matthew Shepard, a young gay man, and the town of Laramie, Wyoming that must face the repercussions. The play was originally created by members of the Tectonic Theater Project led by Moisés Kaufman, all of whom complied over 200 interviews of the residents of Laramie that discuss sentiments regarding homophobia and their community. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/436640

She’s a showgirl, belly dancer, circus contortion dancer, burlesque queen, pin up nymph, actress, fire-eater, director, writer, and a Renaissance Femme in the Technicolor world of show.
