31 Days of Hallowonline: Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog

“Now the nightmare’s real. Now Dr. Horrible is here to make you quake with fear…”
Back in 2008, between his hit “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” of yore and his new blockbusters, “The Avengers” and “Cabin in the Woods,” Joss Whedon gave us “Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog.” Only online, it was published in three acts and went viral just as “viral” became an internet phenomenon. What’s so Halloweenish or Lavenderish about this production?
It’s a musical. Starring Neil Patrick Harris and Nathan Fillion (BRING BACK “FIREFLY“!). About a guy who is evil. Some people wear costumes. What more do we need? Really, that this is its first appearance on the Lavender website is more alarming than it being included in Halloween coverage.
Apparently the CW is wise to the popularity of this little Internet gem and will be airing a slightly edited version on October 9. More importantly, there’s a sequel in the making, so it’s best to catch up now.
You can go to Hulu and watch it via TrailerAddict.com in its three acts or you can take advantage of this HD version below , click to make it full-screen, and sit back to enjoy this campy musical of Neil Patrick Harris proportions in its entirety.
