Passing: Jonathan Halverson 1974-2010

Jonathan James Halverson, 36, of Bloomington, passed away unexpectedly on June 29 at University of Minnesota Fairview Hospital in Minneapolis. He was born May 15, 1974, in Paynesville, Minnesota.

Since 2007, Halverson had been an Advertising Account Executive with Lavender Magazine, where he worked with a number of clients, earning their respect and friendship.

Given Halverson’s winning personality, not surprisingly, one of his favorite pastimes was doing stand-up comedy at hotels.

Halverson leaves behind his Grandma, Katherine Halverson; his friend/partner, Bill Hart; his Lavender family; his loving pets, Abby and Phoebe; and many more family and friends. His mother, Doris Halverson, preceded him in death.

A memorial service took place on July 10 at Lakewood Memorial Chapel in Minneapolis.
