Red Ribbon Ride Opening Ceremonies

Yes, I said 6am! I know it’s early, but it’s for an awesome cause. Come cheer on this year’s riders as they take off on this year’s Red Ribbon Ride. If attending, you should arrive at the Mall of America at 6am using the north entrance off Lindau and Hwy 77. You should park in the surface lot of Nordstrom’s and go to the North Garden just inside the North entrance of the Mall. Opening Ceremonies begin at 6:30 am and the riders begin their journey at approximately 6:50am. For more info, go to www.redribbonride.org.

The Minneapolis Movie Bears and the North Country Bears are getting together again for another big Tubing down the Cannon River event. Last year there were 150 bears and friends enjoying a great day on the river. You don’t have to be a bear, cub, or otter to join in the fun. Come join us this year and help us grow even bigger. Tubes are $9 each. After tubing, many in the group will be going to Treasure Island Resort & Casino for the buffet. Miss TCGSL is the annual Twin Cities Goodtime Softball League fundraiser that features league athletes performing in drag to raise money for the league and the league’s Sunshine Fund for those in need.
