Wild West Bingo
May 16 • 5:30–10 p.m.
Hyatt • 1300 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis
Go west; life is peaceful there! Dust off your chaps and find your ten-gallon hat. It’s time to have fun while raising money for two great causes: Park House and the Twin Cities Gay Men’s Chorus. You might even win some great prizes! The fabulous Miss Richfield 1981 hosts the soirée, assisted by her pals Barbie Q, Gosh Alice Jones, Bebe Gallini, and Mrs. Margie Pederson. They’re always a comedic hit and will leave you in stitches; their constant banter with bingo participants has people at the edge of their seats wondering what they will say next. They’ll have live bingo games for prizes — including the $1,000 Big Game, awesome raffle packages, tasty food offerings, cash bar, Wild West-themed costume contest, and lots more. Purchase tickets at www.bingoagogo.com until noon on Friday, May 15 for $35; or pay $45 at the door (while seats last). Tables of eight or more get reserved seating when you specify a table host when ordering online.

Voyageur Park • 600 1st Ave. NW, Pine City
Make your way just north of the Twin Cities as Minnesota’s small-town Pride once again kicks off the Pride season. It’s a day of fun, family, community, and connection, and also gives GLBT people of East Central Minnesota, those questioning, and their friends, family, and allies an opportunity to meet and build community in an otherwise isolated part of the state. This year’s entertainment lineup includes Hedwig, Calliope Women’s Chorus, and Neighberz. The event is free to attend, and there’ll be plenty of good food, musical entertainment, vendors, and much more. Visit www.eastcentralminnesotapride.com for more information.
