Nineteen senior class student designers showcased their final works at the University’s annual Align Apparel Design Fashion Show. Their visions impress upon the industry just how talented are the Cities’ young designers. Laura Schaefer showed a sophisticated ready-to-wear collection of fine fabrics and uncomplicated silhouettes. We’d be remiss not to say that her talent measures with seasoned professionals. [Read more about Laura here.] Paul Erling’s collection stung audiences with a haunting commentary on the abstract with diverse approaches to size and texture through androgynous pieces. We see in Paul erudition that we couldn’t ignore.
