Lindsay Whalen Becomes The First Minnesota Women's Basketball Player To Be Named To The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Lindsay led the Minnesota Gophers to the Women’s Final Four as a player before leading the Minnesota Lynx to four WNBA Championship titles. She is a two-time Olympic Gold Medalist as part of the United States Women's Basketball National Team. Coach Whalen is currently the Women's Basketball Head Coach of the Minnesota Gophers.
