GayStarNews reports that the names of 27 men believed to have been killed during an anti-gay purge in Chechnya have been revealed by Russia’s Novaya Gazeta, which initially broke the story of the persecution of homosexual men under Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov’s government.
