Rift Within Methodist Church Grows In Wake Of Vote On Gay Marriage

The Wall Street Journal reports that the sign outside Westwood United Methodist Church just said “Westwood Church” on Sunday, with “United Methodist” having been taped over, in protest against the denomination’s vote last week to strengthen its ban on same-sex marriage and lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender clergy.
