Rhode Island Governor Signs Bill To Help Gay Veterans Get Benefits

NBC News reports that Rhode Island’s governor has ceremoniously signed legislation making it easier for veterans to get their state and local benefits if they were discharged from the military solely due to their sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.
