NY Yankees Announce Details Of LGBTI Initiative To Commemorate Stonewall Riots

GayStarNews reports that many felt a sense of relief when the New York Yankees announced that they were to celebrate their first LGBTI Pride event in 2019, but with 2019 also being the 50^th anniversary of the iconic Stonewall Riots, the team have begun announcing events and programs which will mark the anniversary, the first of which is a new scholarship program.
