The Phoenix New Times reports that Norterra Canyon principal Tish Mineer — already under fire for allegedly overseeing a toxic environment for LGBTQ students — once prohibited a sixth-grader from working on a project about LGBTQ pride because she felt it was not appropriate for middle-schoolers, according to internal emails.
