Nancy Garden, Young-Adult Writer Who Explored Gay Romance, Dies At 76

The Washington Post reports that Nancy Garden, the author of the novel “Annie on My Mind” and other volumes that helped young readers explore themes of gay romance and self-discovery when few books offered such an outlet, died June 23rd at her home in Carlisle, Massachusetts.
