LGBTQ People Now Protected Under The Fair Housing Act

Marketplace.com reports that for the first time, lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people are now protected from housing discrimination under federal law after the Department of Housing and Urban Development announced this month that the Fair Housing Act covers people who experience discrimination because of their sexual orientation or gender identity.
