Jamaica Activist Challenges Anti-Gay Law in Bid to End Violence, Discrimination

Reuters reports three years after fleeing to Canada, gay rights activist Maurice Tomlinson arrived back in his native Jamaica to challenge the constitutionality of the country’s Sodomy Law, that dates back more than 150 years, on the grounds that the law infringes on his human rights by making it illegal to be gay.
