Hungary Government Proposes Same-Sex Adoption Ban

The BBC reports that Hungary’s government has drafted a change to the country’s constitution that would in effect ban adoption by same-sex couples, with the proposed amendment specifying that “the mother is a woman, the father is a man” and permit only married couples to adopt children.
