Gay Physician Named To Federal CDC HIV Post

The Bay Area Reporter reports that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced this week that Dr. Demetre Daskalakis, a longtime leader in HIV and a gay physician, has been named director of the agency’s Division of HIV/AIDS Prevention.
