Gay Cop Creates ‘Safe Place’ On Capitol Hill

The Seattle Times reports that Jim Ritter, a gay officer with more than 30 years in the Seattle Police Department, has started a campaign that politicians and others think is helping to restore the security of Seattle’s gay community.
