Drag Queens Protest Racism At Popular New York Gay Bar

Out Magazine reports that since 1981 the Monster, located just across the street from Stonewall, has been a staple of the West Village gay scene in New York as an essential stop for gay bar-hopping along Christopher Street with fabulous drag, hot go-go dancers, and live piano performances, but recently the bar has come under fire for racism.
