29 States Discriminate in the Workplace

The Economist reports that in a majority of the 50 states, no laws prevent employers from discriminating against gays and lesbians in the workplace. You can be harassed, demoted or even fired for being gay, lesbian or transgendered in Ohio, Virginia, Florida and 26 other states.
