U of M Transgender Commission Spreads the Word

The University of Minnesota Transgender Commission hosted its second annual Open House on November 13 in the President’s Room at Coffman Memorial Union. Attendees enjoyed an evening of socializing and networking. The event included remarks from commission members, and talk on how to get involved in creating change.

Moxie Salon Chills Out To Raise Awareness

Moxie Salon hosted its fifth annual Great American Sleep Out on November 15. It hopes that by doing so, it can raise awareness of the growing population of homeless and runaway youth, and show options are out there for those in need.

Northwestern Drags for The Aliveness Project

On November 10, the Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual Alliance at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota, presented A Gender Bender Extravaganza. The show was a fund-raiser for The Aliveness Project.
