Jody Herold Wins Summer Dreams Photo Contest

Everyone at Whelihan Fine Art was very impressed with the quality of entries for the Summer Dreams Photo Submissions Contest.

And the winner by popular vote is… Jody Herold, for the photography of Jennie Smittkamp.
Congratulations, Jody! Anthony Whelihan will incorporate your winning photo into the cover art of the 2008 Lavender Pride Edition, to be released on June 6, 2008. It promises to be exciting, because as with all of Whelihan’s work, the more you look, the more you see. Will it be an easy find where Jennie’s image is integrated, or will it take some time to discover? That remains the question.
Among the 10 finalists, Anthony Wallin came in second place with “Amber, Liz, Brian,” followed in third place by Nadine Barten with “Frankie & Annie.” Congratulations to all the participants, and thanks to all 512 voters.
