Join us on Thursday, June 5, 5:30–9:00 PM, for the unveiling of the 2008 Pride Edition and the presentation of the annual Pride Awards, while enjoying an open bar, complimentary appetizers, great giveaways, and prize registrations. The elegant Chambers Hotel in Downtown Minneapolis will be the venue for the official kickoff of Lavender’s Summer of Pride.
Splash Bash II
Get ready to party with Lavender at our annual Swimwear and Underwear Fashion Show at Trocaderos Nightclub on Saturday, June 28. Headlining the show will be none other than The Village People, along with RuPaul and Cazwell, and the Twin Cities’s own Oryon. This promises to be the place to be on Pride Weekend! Great entertainment, models from SoulFire Entertainment showcasing the latest in swimwear, a VIP Party and Dance Party—what’s not to love? Space is limited, so get your tickets early!
Pride Central
The place to be on Parade Sunday, June 29. The Chambers Hotel is the site for all the excitement. Centrally located on the parade route, with its more than 100,000 attendees, Pride Central will feature a beverage garden, prize registrations, and lots of giveaways. Don’t miss your chance to be at the center of all the action for the 2008 Pride Parade.
Bear Bust Block Party
If you classify yourself as a Bear or a Cub, or just want to enjoy hot men in a block-party atmosphere, join us at the second annual Bear Bust Block Party on the street in front of Innuendo Bar in St. Paul. Saturday, August 9, is the day to come out and play on the block with the Bears and their admirers.
Gay Day at the Twins
Whether you’re an athlete or just an athletic supporter, this community day at the Twins includes a pregame party and tickets to the Twins vs. Texas Rangers game. Ticket sales benefit two local charities. Mark your calendars for August 16. Come out to support the community, as well as cheering on the Minnesota Twins to victory.
Oktoberfest
